The Dress – The Professional Photos
These photos are a collection of my favourites from the professional photographer. We got married at Ripponlea Estate, in Melbourne. The guy in the grey suit is my awesome husband.
These photos were taken & editted by our photographer, Tatiana Koulatsos at Red Butterfly Photography, (www.redbutterfly.com.au).

Congratulations on your wedding! That dress is absolutely sensational. What an incredible job you’ve done!
Stunning! I too love that Vogue pattern and take a look at it just to drool every once in a while. Your version is breathtaking. And the photography is excellent.
Gorgeous!! I love the lace bodice, the little buttons, it’s just lovely! The photography is beautiful as well. Wonderful job!
I found your blog on Sew Retro
I am getting married in September and had thought about making my dress (I went to school for Fashion Design), but now that I *AM* getting married I am terrified! Your dress is absolutely inspiring! I love all the wonderful details!
Congratulations!
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments!
Sarah, so honoured to hear you find my dress inspiring! Best wishes for your wedding. The best bit of advice I can provide is plan ahead. The best thing I did was setting myself a deadline 6 weeks before the wedding & then working out a plan to achieve it, i.e. must have the corset finished this week, the skirt the next & so on. There’s nothing worse than panicking about a dress the night beforehand.
I found your blog by accident today, and it’s so fun to read. Keep up the wonderful work. Your dress turned out amazingly well! How sweet that your mother helped you construct it… you will always have that memory to hold. keep on writing!
Your blog is great! It was so nice to read the story of your wedding dress, and how your mother helped you make it, etc. I happened upon your blog by accident (I just bought a Vogue pattern #8146) and I was frustrated over the sizing, so I googled “do Vogue patterns run true to size?”. I came upon your Channel jacket and that was lovely also. Take care, and keep writing!
